Heather Goodchild is a Toronto based artist, exhibiting since 2001. Working with textile techniques in conjunction with installation, performance, and sculpture, she creates scenarios that relate to the past to decode the present. Goodchild most recently exhibited at the Textile Museum of Canada and was awarded the Canada Council for the Arts international residency in Paris. She was the Artist in Residence at the Art Gallery of Ontario in summer 2012 and has upcoming shows at Modern Fuel (Kingston), Harbourfront Centre (Toronto) and Mulherin (New York).
